Role Description

The VP, Security & Quality is a cross-functional leadership role responsible for advancing the security, integrity, quality, and operational reliability of Meazure Learning’s testing environment. This leader will oversee and continuously evolve testing-security practices across both remote online proctoring and onsite Test Center delivery, helping ensure Meazure Learning’s testing solutions remain secure, reliable, and aligned with the needs of clients and test takers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ongoing execution and evolution of Meazure Learning’s testing security strategy.
• Provide leadership and oversight for technology-enabled security practices and controls.
• Partner closely with Technology and Product teams to assess testing-related security considerations.
• Maintain and enhance testing security standards, policies, procedures, and controls.
• Stay current on testing-security trends and recommend enhancements.
• Provide leadership in the review, escalation, and resolution of testing security matters.
• Partner with Test Center leadership to maintain effective security practices for onsite testing.
• Support remote proctoring operations to authenticate test takers and protect exam content.
• Monitor and communicate meaningful testing-security metrics and trends to leadership.
• Serve as a senior testing-security resource for client reviews, audits, and inquiries.
• Champion Meazure Learning’s culture of testing security and accountability.

Quality, Compliance & Operational Excellence

• Drive business results through the development and execution of a quality management system.
• Apply performance improvement methods (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to define key process gaps.
• Develop and manage standards, policies, and procedures for quality management.
• Create product and process quality documentation and standardized client communication.
• Prepare product, process, quality, and compliance reports.
• Partner with operational leaders to develop meaningful performance measures.
• Develop policies concerning accessibility and operational compliance.
• Implement process changes and monitor results.
• Coordinate audit processes and collaborate on corrective actions.
• Synthesize analysis into operational insights and practical recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, information systems, security, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Significant leadership experience in testing security, assessment technology, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated understanding of security risks and controls associated with remote online testing.
• Experience partnering with Technology and Product teams to evaluate security controls.
• Experience identifying and mitigating technology and operational risks.
• Experience with data analytics and statistical processes.
• Formal Lean and Six Sigma training; Master Black Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
• Experience in Higher Education, assessment, certification, or academic testing preferred.
• Experience coaching and mentoring at all levels of an organization.
• Proven track record of initiating and championing change.
• Strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and strategic foresight.
• Ability to translate technical risks into clear business implications.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Process-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple initiatives.
• Focused on achieving results for customers and the company.
