Role Description

We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on leader to drive operational excellence and growth across a portfolio of cardiovascular-focused Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in building new facilities, optimizing performance, and developing trusted partnerships with cardiovascular surgeons.

Develop New Cardiovascular ASCs
- Oversee the launch of at least two de novo ASCs annually—on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with development teams to meet all regulatory, design, and operational milestones.
- Ensure new centers are positioned to achieve financial sustainability within their first year.
Drive Operational Excellence
- Lead operational performance to exceed 25% EBITDA margins.
- Ensure all centers maintain full regulatory and accreditation compliance.
- Optimize workflows to increase case throughput by 15% year over year.
Engage Surgeons & Migrate Cases
- Build strong, lasting relationships with CV surgeons.
- Successfully transition 20% of hospital cases to ASCs each year.
- Drive physician satisfaction above 90% and increase referrals by 10% annually.
Lead High-Performing Teams
- Hire, develop, and retain exceptional administrators and clinical staff.
- Achieve employee satisfaction scores above 85% and retention rates of 90%+ for key roles.
- Promote a collaborative, excellence-driven culture across all teams.

Qualifications

10+ years in healthcare operations, ideally within cardiovascular ASCs or Cath Labs.
Clinical background such as RN preferred.
Proven experience launching new ASCs and transitioning hospital cases.
Strong financial acumen and a track record of operational success.
Excellent leadership and relationship-building skills with physicians and stakeholders.
Experience working in private equity–backed or multi-state healthcare environments is a plus.
