Role Description
This role involves engaging in a variety of planning tasks that directly influence property development and urban design strategies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Planning Reports and Property Development Appraisal Reports to ensure compliance with local and national planning policies.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders through effective communication to present planning proposals and gather valuable feedback.
- Conduct thorough research on urban planning policies and regulations, providing insights that guide project development.
- Collaborate closely with architects, property conveyancers, and a diverse range of consultants to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Prepare detailed urban design drawings and documents, contributing to the project’s vision and objectives.
- Utilize advanced 3D modeling techniques to create innovative design concepts that enhance planning proposals.
- Assist with additional planning tasks and projects as required by the department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Urban/Town Planning, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in urban planning or landscape architecture.
- Deep understanding of UK planning regulations and guidelines.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
