Role Description

At Arch, our operations teams help drive business growth by delivering exceptional service and efficient processes. This Underwriting Service Specialist role supports a new product within our Executive Assurance team, where workflows are still being established. We are seeking a creative problem solver with experience building workflows, developing SOPs, and driving change. The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking initiative, collaborating cross-functionally, analyzing information, resolving issues, and adapting to evolving business needs while partnering with underwriters, corporate resources, and global teams to meet key commitments.

Responsibilities

• Policy & endorsement issuance
• File documentation and set-up
• Review account information for data entry into appropriate systems
• Order, prepare and/or update reports
• Policy Rating and/or initial entry into rating model
• Processing of various underwriting transactions and requests
• Correspond with brokers for information at Underwriter’s request
• Coordinate services with other services units, as needed
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 2+ Years experience in same or related field preferred

Requirements

• Base salary range: $47,600 – $79,900 dependent on location
• Position is incentive eligible
• Total individual compensation will take into account various factors including geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs
• The above pay range may be modified in the future
