[Hiring] Trust Officer @The Children's Society

Role Description

As this role sits within our Social Impact Domain, in our Philanthropy and Partnerships Team, it will play an integral role in helping us to implement our strategic approach to supporter engagement and income generation. Together we will engage both:

• trust and foundation supporters
• corporate partners

We're looking for an adaptable, dedicated and skilled Trust Officer with the ability to identify and research prospective trusts and foundations and corporate partners, and to build and manage your own portfolio of trust and foundation partners, helping us deliver meaningful change.

Qualifications

• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to create clear, persuasive and accurate funding proposals.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Strong administrative skills and ability to maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Experience of researching, applying to and managing relationships with charitable trusts and foundations.
• Proven track record of producing successful funding applications and reports.
• Experience of meeting financial targets and managing competing deadlines.
• Demonstrable experience of working to deadlines, targets and set standards.
