Role Description

Crawford has the largest team of dedicated Liability adjusters in the UK, located at 12 self-contained offices, in most cases less than an hour from any loss. • Manage your own caseload of Liability claims, including:
  • Employers Liability
  • Personal Liability
  • Commercial based claims
• Work in partnership with an assigned Liability Adjuster on more complex claims.
• Manage client instructions swiftly to ensure great client relationships built around trust, respect, and speedy resolution.
• Gather all relevant evidence and understand full details of policy cover.
• Explain liability to customers in a non-technical and unbiased approach.
• Negotiate settlements and manage pushbacks to achieve swift resolution.
• Liaise with any third parties involved with the claim.
• Opportunity to develop into a field-based Adjuster with additional study support and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience of Liability (EL/PL) end-to-end caseload management.
• Claims delegated authority of £75k - £100k or above.
• Ability to make quantum decisions.
• Ability to prioritise claims, act upon instructions and SLAs, and be comfortable in a KPI target environment.
• Able to demonstrate knowledge and/or awareness of FSA procedures and the TCF initiative.
• Excellent customer service, organisational, and communication skills.

Requirements

• An insurance qualification such as CII or equivalent (study support is available).
• Maintain awareness of Business Continuity programme and role within it.
