Role Description

Your role involves:

Concept and development of requirements for molding tools in the project
Optimization of product construction for manufacturability and participation in DFMEA
Feasibility study of plastic components designed in Aptiv Technical Centers
Supervision, optimization and expressing opinions about mold project
Coordination of realization of tool build by supplier
Cost of tool calculation in collaboration with plant and suppliers
Supporting plants during tool start

Qualifications

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in technical field with specialization in mechanics, molding or similar
Experience in designing mold tools
Knowledge of plastic components design rules
Ability to travel frequently within Europe (Aptiv plants, Delphi Technical Centers, Suppliers)
Knowledge & skills in CAD software e.g.: UG NX (preferred), Catia V5, Inventor, ProE, etc.
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position
Good English skills (both spoken and written)
Ability to work with experts from various fields and fast learning
Ability to work in a team and to solve problems creatively
Openness to challenges and development
