Role Description
This role is a Tasmanian based, fully work-from-home position. We are seeking dedicated Doctors to join our team on either a contract or permanent basis in either a part-time or full-time capacity. We are open to all Medical Practitioners, not only GP's.
As an Alternaleaf prescriber, you will be conducting Telehealth consultations via Amazon Connect and prescribing alternative treatment plans to patients for a spectrum of physical and mental conditions. You’ll influence both patient outcomes and clinical satisfaction through best-in-class systems, protocols, and ongoing support, and help shape the evolving healthcare landscape by developing clinical insights, setting industry benchmarks, and influencing regulatory standards that define patient care.

Qualifications
- Medical Degree and General registration with AHPRA with nil restrictions or conditions
- Limited or provisional registration not accepted
- Full working rights within Australia
- Experience working within the Australian healthcare system
- Authorised Prescriber (AP) for medicinal cannabis is highly regarded but not mandatory
- Availability to work a minimum of 15.2 hours per week
- Medical Indemnity Insurance covering telehealth & prescribing for schedule 8 medications, including medical cannabis
- Be able to obtain a Medicare Provider Number
- Must be based in Australia (we do not offer the ability to work from overseas)
- Excellent communication, strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and agile environment
