Role Description
Outlier needs your expertise as we work to improve AI models' ability to reason about the Manufacturing, Logistics or Industrial domain!

You will:
- Train AI models by crafting and answering questions related to the Manufacturing, Logistics or Industrial domain
- Evaluate and rank responses generated by AI systems
- Use your domain expertise to assess the factuality and relevance of text produced by AI models
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of work experience in the industry, including work in Automotive, Aerospace, Heavy Machinery, Consumer Electronics, Chemical Manufacturing, Shipping Companies, or Warehousing
- Ability to write engaging, accurate, and insightful content related to the Manufacturing, Logistics or Industrial domain
- Research and fact-checking abilities: attention to detail and commitment to presenting credible and reliable content
- Strong storytelling and narrative skills with the ability to craft captivating narratives
- Exceptional writing skills, with a focus on clarity, brevity, and engagement
Requirements
- Professional writing experience as a researcher, journalist, technical writer, editor, or similar roles (Nice to Have)
- Solid subject matter knowledge in other subfields of Accounting, Financial or Information Services (Nice to Have)
- Interest in AI and machine learning concepts (Nice to Have)
Earnings
- Base Pay: up to $12.25 - $45.00 per hour USD, depending on your level of expertise
- This is a freelance position that is paid on a per-hour basis
- You must be authorized to work in your country of residence
- We will not be providing sponsorship since this is a 1099 contract opportunity
- Compensation rates may differ for non-US locations
