[Hiring] Technical Operations and Automation Specialist @Made for Math

Role Description

This is a remote position.

Made for Math is looking for a Technical Operations & Automation Specialist to own the systems that keep our online education company running smoothly. You’ll work across our website, LMS, CRM, automations, analytics, and connected tools to troubleshoot problems, build new systems, and improve the way our technology works together.

Qualifications

• You love troubleshooting and can stay curious when something isn’t working.
• You can look at a manual process and identify opportunities to automate it.
• You’re comfortable working across WordPress, CRMs (we use Zoho), APIs, webhooks, databases, and automation tools.
• You can write or troubleshoot basic CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and SQL, including using AI tools responsibly to accelerate your work.
• You know how to test your work before declaring it finished.
• You communicate clearly with nontechnical teammates and outside vendors.
• You document what you build so important systems don’t live in one person’s head.
• You’re comfortable saying, “I don’t know yet, but I know how to figure it out.”
• You are detail-oriented and know that we won’t consider your application if you don’t include a cover letter with your application that is addressed to Ms. Green Star.

Requirements

• Own day-to-day technical operations across our WordPress website, LearnDash LMS, Zoho systems, and connected tools.
• Troubleshoot website, course-access, online checkout systems, CRM, automation, and customer-account issues before escalating to outside specialists.
• Build landing pages, funnels, products, courses, and automations to approximately 90% completion before final review.
• Connect systems using tools such as Uncanny Automator, Zapier, APIs, webhooks, and custom code when needed.
• Monitor integrations, marketing tracking, analytics, and KPI dashboards to make sure data is accurate and systems are functioning properly.
• Maintain and improve our technology stack, including identifying tools or processes that could be simplified, consolidated, or automated.
• Coordinate directly with vendors and technical partners when additional support is needed.
• Maintain documentation and SOPs for important systems and workflows.

Benefits

• This is a full-time, fully remote position for someone based in the Philippines.
• You can work primarily during normal Philippine daytime hours.
• We do not require you to work a permanent U.S. night shift.
• Regular overlap required for our weekly team huddle on Mondays at 1 PM Pacific Time.
• Pay: ₱45,000–₱55,000 PHP per month, depending on experience and technical skill.

Application Process

• Apply online by completing the application.
• Initial VideoAsk interview.
• Complete a short technical problem-solving task.
• Virtual Task Interview via Zoom (fix a WordPress automation issue).
• DISC Assessment and Reference Check.
• Final panel interview.
