Role Description

Forge Digital Inc. is seeking a Teamcenter Administrator to join our growing PLM practice. In this role, you will lead the administration and management of Teamcenter systems for our customers across automotive, aerospace and defense, advanced manufacturing, and high-tech industries.

You will serve as the primary administrator for customer environments, translating complex business requirements into reliable, scalable Teamcenter solutions. Working closely with customer stakeholders and our technical teams, you will maintain system performance, support users, and drive improvements across the product lifecycle.

What you'll do:

• Administer customer Teamcenter environments, maintaining system availability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Work with Forge Solution Architects to deliver customer enhancements and expansion of capabilities.
• Manage users, groups, roles, permissions, access controls, and organizational structures.
• Configure and maintain workflows, preferences, revision rules, BOM structures, and engineering change processes.
• Manage Teamcenter data models and configuration changes using Business Modeler IDE (BMIDE).
• Configure and support Active Workspace and integrations with NX and other CAD applications.
• Plan and execute installations, upgrades, patches, and configuration deployments across development, test, and production environments.
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and integration issues, coordinating resolution with customers, IT teams, and Siemens support.
• Monitor system health and coordinate backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery testing.
• Support data migration, enterprise integrations, and ongoing data quality improvements.
• Gather customer requirements and recommend configurations that support business needs and long-term maintainability.
• Understand digital thread requirements and the ability to capture a digital twin through sustainment.
• Maintain technical documentation, administration procedures, and configuration records.
• Provide user support, training, and guidance to improve adoption and resolve recurring issues.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience administering Siemens Teamcenter in enterprise production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Teamcenter architecture, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with BMIDE, Active Workspace, workflows, access management, BOM management, and engineering change management.
• Experience supporting Teamcenter integrations with NX or other CAD tools.
• Familiarity with Windows or Linux server administration, relational databases, networking, and enterprise authentication.
• Experience managing upgrades and deployments through testing, validation, and production release.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Clear communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work directly with customers and manage competing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a remote team.
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with ERP integrations such as SAP, scripting, or Teamcenter APIs is a plus.
• Experience supporting automotive, aerospace and defense, advanced manufacturing, energy, or electronics customers is preferred.

Requirements

• Hands-on Siemens Teamcenter experience is required.
• This role is for experienced PLM professionals. General software development, ERP, or other PLM platform experience alone will not qualify.
• Applications without demonstrated Teamcenter work (implementation, configuration, administration, BMIDE, migration, or integration) will not be considered.
• U.S. Person status is required.
• This position involves access to technical data controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
• Candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 CFR 120.62 (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or individual granted asylum or refugee status) and must reside in the United States.
• Forge Digital cannot sponsor work visas for this role.
