Role Description

You are passionate about helping students achieve their educational goals. You thrive in a competitive and collaborative team environment. You are comfortable working remotely and have experience collaborating with others in a virtual environment. You possess a strong attention to detail.

As the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Enrollment, you are responsible for driving enrollment growth and building a high-performing, scalable enrollment organization at ACE. You will be accountable for achieving ACE’s enrollment growth objectives while continuously improving conversion, productivity, service levels, and the prospective student experience. You possess the ability to anticipate prospective student needs, define service standards, and measure experience quality. You will combine deep enrollment expertise with strong operating discipline, evolving ACE’s processes, systems, organizational structure, and capabilities as the institution scales.

You will work closely with the CMO to optimize lead quality and funnel performance, with the CIO and IT organization to ensure technology and data enable enrollment performance, and with other functional leaders across ACE to drive coordinated execution.

  • Expertise in training and quality, including the strategy and oversight of a training and quality program that includes scalable counselor onboarding, coaching, program knowledge, interaction quality standards, and quality assurance.
  • Proven track record of delivering enrollment growth, with direct accountability for enrollment targets and measurable improvement across the lead-to-enrollment funnel.
  • Track record of materially improving enrollment productivity and funnel economics, such as conversion rates, speed-to-lead, advisor effectiveness, lead utilization, yield, or cost efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to evolve and scale an enrollment organization, including improving processes, workflows, organizational structures, systems, and talent to support growth and efficiency.
  • Experience owning enrollment operations and governance, including counselor expectations, inquiry management standards, policies, procedures, controls, and responsible and compliant recruitment practices.
  • Strong data and analytics orientation, with experience establishing dashboards, operational KPIs, forecasting processes, performance-management cadences, and clear accountability for results.
  • Expertise in enrollment operations business acumen, including direct ownership of the enrollment budget, headcount plan, resource allocation, and workforce/capacity planning that is aligned with inquiry volume and enrollment goals.
  • Experience as a change leader and people leader who can upgrade capabilities, develop strong leaders, make necessary talent decisions, and build a culture of accountability, collaboration, urgency, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to partner effectively with Marketing, IT, and other functions while maintaining clear ownership of enrollment outcomes.
  • Strong technology and systems orientation, with experience defining business requirements and improving CRM, lead-management, workflow, reporting, and automation capabilities in partnership with technology teams.
  • Extensive experience with student information systems and end-to-end integration to positively impact the lead-to-enrollment handoff across the CRM, SIS, telephony, workflow, reporting, and related systems.
  • Executive presence and enterprise mindset, with the maturity and credibility to operate effectively with the CEO, board, and executive leadership team while remaining hands-on enough to drive execution.
  • Mission-oriented, believes in the transformative value of accessible, high-quality higher education.
