[Hiring] Subject Matter Expert @VTG

Role Description

As a Subject Matter Expert, you will apply your deep knowledge and experience in the acquisition and sustainment of Naval Mission Systems, Munitions and Maritime Portfolios as well as your knowledge of financial and acquisition expertise in overall Navy processes, in order to provide thought leadership and strategic direction to our capture strategies and business development campaigns, as well as specific contractual taskings that can benefit from this knowledge/experience.

• Provide expert guidance and advice within VTG within the areas of combat systems, munitions, and similar mission systems acquisition and sustainment, with a specific focus on engineering services solutions, which can include certification, test and evaluation, expansion and health of the munitions industrial base, and related policy and guidance matters.
• Provide thought leadership and strategic direction to capture campaigns as well as business development opportunities.
• Develop and deliver presentations to share knowledge and expertise of the PAE Mission Systems and Munitions and Maritime portfolios.
• Represent VTG at industry conferences, seminars, and in other client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
• 15 or more years of industry experience.
• Deep knowledge and expertise in ship and systems acquisition, test and evaluation, maritime industrial base, and related policy.
• Proven experience working in Major Defense Acquisition Programs, including ship and system requirements, development, acquisition, and sustainment.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and influence across diverse teams.
• Proficient in project management and team leadership.

Benefits

• VTG’s estimated hourly rate is $100-$110 which is a general guideline for the geographic location.
• When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
