Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Staff Network Engineer to join our remote team. You will report to the EMEA Manager, Network Engineering and be responsible for:
- Deploying, operating, monitoring, and supporting the Zscaler worldwide production network inside multiple data centers
- Participating in on-call rotation in weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience with high-speed fiber Ethernet networks
- Expert level hands-on experience in BGP routing operation, design, and troubleshooting in both IPv4 and IPv6 for large scale Enterprise or Telecom networks
- Deep knowledge of DNS, HTTPS, GRE, and IPsec protocols with hands-on troubleshooting experience
- Real life experience troubleshooting L2 and L3 Ethernet networks
- In-depth understanding of networking concepts including performance parameters of TCP/IP stack and hands-on experience of IP-packet analysis using Wireshark
Requirements
- Experience in remote Data Centre operations
- Deep knowledge on Unix/Linux/FreeBSD, and Network equipment and the functions they perform
- CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure / Service Provider, JNCIP-ENT / JNCIP-SP or related certifications
