[Hiring] Speak in Your Regional Accent @Kled AI

Role Description

Kled is offering a paid task in the Kled app: "Speak in Your Regional Accent". There is no interview and no minimum hours required. Simply download the app, open the task, and you will be paid per accepted submission.

• Read some phrases out in your normal accent without changing how you speak.
• Steps:
  • Say where you are from.
  • Read the phrases on screen.
  • Speak exactly as you would at home; do not soften your accent.
  • Submit your recording.

What gets rejected:

• Do not neutralise your accent for the recording.
• Do not imitate an accent that is not yours.
• Do not over-enunciate.

Accepted: Genuine regional accent, not neutralised, clearly audible.

Pay: $1.50 per accepted recording. At a typical pace of about 3 minutes per recording, this amounts to about $30 per hour. A 20-minute session of about 7 recordings pays about $10.50. You are paid per accepted submission (piecework, independent contractor); submissions that break the rules are not paid. Payouts are made in the app (PayPal, Venmo, or a Solana wallet).

Where and when: Open in the United States. Remote, on your own schedule. Independent contractor, piecework; this is not an employment position.

Requirements

• An iPhone running iOS 18.6 or later (the Kled app is iPhone-only right now).
• 18 years or older.
• A quiet enough place to record (unless the task says otherwise).

How to start

• Download Kled from the App Store: Kled App (also at kled.ai/app).
• Create your account and open Tasks.
• Search "Speak in Your Regional Accent", read the brief, and follow the on-screen steps.
• Submit. Accepted submissions are paid in the app.
