Role Description

As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll be the technical bridge between our product and our users. You’ll work closely with customers, developers, and our internal product and engineering teams to ensure seamless adoption and integration of Qdrant into real-world AI applications.

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers during pre-sales, onboarding, and post-sales engagements.
  • Understand client requirements and design tailored solutions using Qdrant and adjacent tools in the AI/data ecosystem.
  • Build technical demos, PoCs, and reference architectures.
  • Assist with performance tuning, deployment strategies, and integration best practices.
  • Provide feedback to the product and engineering teams to help shape Qdrant’s roadmap.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, tutorials, and community support channels.
  • Represent Qdrant at meetups, webinars, and conferences as a subject matter expert.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering, Developer Advocate, or similar customer-facing technical role.
  • Strong understanding of vector search, similarity search, and machine learning workflows.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with common AI/ML libraries (e.g., Hugging Face, Faiss, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
  • Experience working with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud-native environments (Docker, Kubernetes, cloud services).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Passion for open-source software and engaging with developer communities.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with Qdrant or similar vector search tools.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
  • Knowledge of semantic search, embeddings, LLMs, and RAG architectures.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and gRPC.
