Role Description

Snowball is seeking a Short-Form Video Editor to craft emotionally powerful vertical video content for PrayerSong, a mission-driven platform focused on spreading love, hope, and connection through music and storytelling.

The ideal editor cares deeply about creating work that helps people feel understood, supported, and connected. This role is not purely technical; much of the storytelling power emerges in how the narrative is shaped, paced, and felt.

As Short-Form Video Editor, you will:

• Transform footage and raw moments into concise, emotionally impactful vertical videos designed for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels.
• Work closely with the content creator and creative team to highlight emotionally meaningful moments and shape them into concise vertical stories.
• Create short-form videos using pre-existing footage and brand assets for social distribution and paid marketing campaigns.
• Refine story structure, pacing, and tone while ensuring each piece connects quickly and meaningfully with viewers.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of professional editing experience with a strong storytelling portfolio; YouTube Shorts, TikTok, or Instagram Reels strongly preferred.
• Experience editing content for social media campaigns, paid marketing, or performance-driven content.
• Demonstrated ability to craft emotionally resonant short-form or narrative content.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or comparable tools.
• Strong understanding of pacing, tone, and narrative structure for vertical video.
• Excellent taste and restraint in music and editorial choices.
• Detail-oriented with a high bar for polish and emotional authenticity.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote production environment.
