Role Description

Serves existing accounts by:

• Analyzing work orders
• Planning daily travel schedule
• Investigating complaints
• Conducting tests
• Resolving problems

Establishes service by:

• Studying system requirements
• Ordering and gathering components and parts
• Completing installation
• Performing acceptance tests

Maintains rapport with customers by:

• Examining complaints

• Following operating instructions
• Troubleshooting breakdowns
• Maintaining supplies

• Completing forms
• Reports

• Records

Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.

Updates job knowledge by:

• Participating in educational opportunities
• Reading professional publications

Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or related associates degree
• One to three years related experience and/or training
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form

Work Environment

The service technician position performs their work offsite at our customer’s facilities so the work environments will vary as will any exposures to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites may be loud.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

• Regularly required to walk, sit, stand, bend, lift, and move continually during working hours
• Subject to lifting over 50 pounds
• Involves sitting for various periods of time, and also requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching throughout the day
• Frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend work is also necessary at times.

Hourly Pay Rate: $25.00 - $29 per hour.

Travel

This position will require the individual to travel 100% of the time within the Tampa Bay / Sarasota-Bradenton Region.

Territory: This position will service the greater Tampa Bay and Sarasota/Bradenton areas, including Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, Lakewood Ranch, and Palmetto area.
