Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in video editing and will play a key role in producing high-quality content for our YouTube channel. This position requires proficiency in Adobe Premiere, an in-depth understanding of efficient rendering workflows, and the ability to optimize export settings for seamless video production.
- Edit long-form YouTube content focusing on creative storytelling, visual appeal, and technical precision.
- Manage and improve video rendering workflows, ensuring timely and high-quality exports.
- Optimize video rendering processes to minimize bottlenecks and enhance productivity.
- Configure export settings for different video formats, ensuring platform consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with the team to meet content deadlines and maintain a high standard of work.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to video editing and rendering.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior editors on best practices and workflow improvements.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years experience video editing in a professional setting
- Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro and strong video editing techniques.
- Efficient in video rendering workflows and export settings configuration.
- Solid knowledge of video file formats, codecs, and compression settings.
- Exceptional storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives through video content.
- Ability to handle long-form content and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Experience working on YouTube content or similar digital platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Capability to deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Amenable to work during Sydney, AU time zone, and can render overtime.
Requirements
- Can handle stress, pressure, and time crunch.
- Willing to undergo a timed Zoom assessment. If shortlisted, your assessment will be paid.
- Specs Requirement: Intel i7-13700K, RTX 4070 GPU, 32GB RAM, NVMe SSD.
- Internet Speed: 100+ Mbps.
