[Hiring] Senior Program Placement Specialist @Gallagher

Role Description

Internally focused, contributes to the creation and development of carrier market programs concentrated on market relations, creation of panels for product support, qualifying insurance carriers, and establishing commission terms and conditions. Key responsibilities involve:

• Managing, monitoring, and negotiating renewal of existing carrier agreements.
• Acting as an advocate for existing client carriers.
• Reviewing carrier commission schedules and seeking most favorable plans for division branch network.
• Working closely with regional/branch network regarding locally administered plans and navigating national plans.
• Collaborating with business niches in developing enhanced compensation plans with key markets.
• Measuring and reporting on various forms of compensation paid to AJG by insurance carriers.
• Developing new and enhancing existing compensation plans in collaboration with carrier contacts.
• Reviewing compensation plans of recent acquisitions for integration into existing AJG/Division plans.
• Supporting contracted clients in using and accessing the carrier platform.

May contribute to the development of functional strategy. Develops solutions based on subject expertise and occasionally represents the department or function at a broader level. May provide guidance to lower level staff, but has no formal supervisory responsibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience required.
• Strong knowledge of the insurance brokerage business.
• Professional designation preferred, such as CPCU, CIC or ARM.
• Able to work independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
