[Hiring] Senior Operational Strategy Director @Precision for Medicine

Role Description

The Senior Operational Strategy Director will be a core member of the expert team within the Operational Strategy Department of Precision for Medicine. They will drive and support the operational strategy considerations for RFPs, bid defense meetings (BDMs), and support the operational teams at BDM. This role entails:

• Operationalizing complex clinical studies globally.
• Knowledge and analysis of the competitive environment.
• Analysis of study design and rationale.
• Supporting the business development team by representing Precision operations at pre-award meetings.
• Leading specific projects to maintain Precision for Medicine's competitive edge.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

• Collaborating with medical, operational, business development, proposal colleagues, and other Precision functional leadership to:
• Create, develop, and refine the strategy for potential opportunities regarding operational considerations.
• Provide data-driven analysis to support the operational strategy.
• Develop proposal text that describes the operational strategy and conduct a comprehensive proposal review.
• Ensure proposals reflect robust strategic, operational, scientific, medical, and clinical development planning.
• Create and refine study budgets and support their development and finalization.
• Work closely with Project Management and Clinical Trial Management to transition the operational strategy.
• Participate in post-award engagement meetings to ensure the study team has the necessary information.
• Mentor and train Operational Strategy colleagues in aspects of strategy and budgeting for clinical research.
• Representing Precision for Medicine in client meetings:
• Supporting capabilities presentations and client meetings.
• Providing feasibility and competitive landscape direction input for BDMs.
• Creating innovative solutions in conjunction with medical and scientific strategy.
• Supporting pre-award collaboration and inclusion of translational and data innovation strategies.
• Attending industry meetings, speaking engagements, booth exhibitions, etc.
• Publishing scientific or industry-related articles in journals and digital media.

Qualifications

• Approximately 18 years in the CRO/Pharmaceutical industry or equivalent relevant experience.
• Demonstrated competence in operational strategy analysis and budget review.
• Strong experience in Precision’s identified target therapeutic area clinical development.
