[Hiring] Senior Mechanistic Modeling Specialist @Danaher

Role Description

The Senior Mechanistic Modeling Specialist (d/f/m) is responsible for supporting customers in advancing their process development by leveraging GoSilico™ Chromatography Modeling Software to simulate, optimize, and streamline purification workflows. This position reports to the Director Mechanistic Modeling Services and is part of Clinical Programs and will be fully remote.

• Provide expert support to customers during complex modeling projects, and lead and execute projects as a service.
• Deliver training courses to biomanufacturing customers, and create content for customer education and marketing purposes.
• Contribute to software development by providing input and feedback to the product roadmap, and conducting software testing.
• Contribute to operational mechanisms including financial reporting, project portfolio management, and business performance metrics, as well as representing the team in internal projects.
• Present technical topics to customer audience (i.e. conference presentations, webinars, white papers, etc.).

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree in biotechnology, bioprocess/biomedical engineering, biochemical engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience in downstream processing of biopharmaceuticals.
• Experience in mechanistic modeling of chromatography.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Fluency in English (oral and writing).

Requirements

• Ability to travel globally, including overnight stays, of up to 15%.
