Role Description

Tines is seeking a Senior Manager, Professional Services Engineering to join our Customer Success organization. This remote role must be based in EST, preferably close to Boston.

• Lead our growing team of engineers across the US and Ireland.
• Serve as the champion, coach, and strategic anchor for a team delivering automation solutions to our largest enterprise customers.
• Bring long-range predictability to our services engine by solving operational puzzles and architecting capacity models.
• Proactively solve problems and take ownership of initiatives.

What You Will Be Doing

• Champion & Coach a High-Performing Team: Lead, mentor, and advocate for 8–10+ Professional Services Engineers through meaningful 1:1s, tailored career pathing, performance reviews, and active technical/professional coaching.
• Build Trust & Psychological Safety: Establish deep trust with a team navigating leadership transitions and diverse working styles.
• Master Dynamic Resourcing ("Puzzle-Piece Scheduling"): Own day-to-day engagement allocations, rebalancing resources, priorities, and schedules in real time.
• Architect 6+ Month Capacity Forecasting: Design, implement, and maintain predictive capacity models to forecast bench availability and skillset distribution.
• Drive Strategic Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Project Management leadership and Engagement Managers to ensure solid engagement delivery.
• Influence Product & Engineering: Serve as a conduit between customer delivery and product development.
• Proactively Own Initiatives: Identify delivery bottlenecks and formulate viable, data-backed solutions.
• Partner with Services Ecosystems: Co-lead monthly syncs with external services partners.
• Drive Operational & Delivery Excellence: Accountable for core delivery metrics including engagement completion rates and CSAT.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a post-sales customer facing role at a technology company.
• 5+ years of direct people leadership or practice experience.
• Proven track record managing and retaining professional services or technical delivery teams in high-growth SaaS environments.
• Hands-on experience building and managing rolling 6+ month capacity and utilization forecasts.
• An entrepreneurial mindset that proactively identifies friction and drives strategic initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to build trust with PM leadership, Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams.
• Ability to speak competently on workflow automation, APIs, and modern AI/LLM applications.
• Experience coaching and coordinating a remote or geographically distributed engineering team.
• Solid understanding of professional services metrics.

Requirements

• This role reports to the Director, Professional Services based in Omaha, Nebraska.
• Target Annual Compensation: $195-210K OTE (80/20 split).
