[Hiring] Senior Manager, Procurement @Ramp

Role Description
We are seeking a procurement leader to help build Ramp’s procurement team and strategy from the ground up. You will be responsible for designing and executing all aspects of our internal procurement strategy. In addition, you will provide critical feedback to our product team as we build our own procurement software product. This is a unique opportunity to build a procurement function from zero to one and shape the direction of our procurement software roadmap.
- Manage and optimize our procurement intake and approval process
- Negotiate contracts with vendors
- Manage renewals and vendor relationships
- Define how we do procurement internally and communicate that to the rest of the organization
- Influence our product development
- Build out the procurement team
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Procurement function, preferably at a high-growth technology company
- Strong organization/project management abilities – able to juggle many different requests/negotiations at once
- Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in modern procurement software and tools (e.g. Ramp, Zip, Coupa, Vendr)
