[Hiring] Senior Manager or Director of Donor Relations @Way to Win

Role Description

Way to Win is seeking a dynamic, relationship-centered, and results-driven Senior Manager or Director of Donor Relations to help grow, steward, and deepen relationships with the donors and members who resource our work.

• Manage a portfolio of individual donors and prospective members.
• Develop personalized strategies for cultivation, solicitation, recruitment, renewals, upgrades, and stewardship.
• Lead thoughtful donor conversations and make significant financial asks.
• Prepare executive briefings and communicate political strategy.
• Ensure strong systems and consistent follow-through on commitments.

• Demonstrated success in cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual donors.
• Comfortable making significant financial asks.
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex political or philanthropic strategies clearly.
• Experience working independently and exercising sound judgment.

Requirements

• Senior Manager candidates: 5–7+ years of relevant experience.
• Director candidates: 8–10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in frontline major gifts fundraising and managing complex donor portfolios.
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or comparable CRM systems.
