[Hiring] Senior Implementation Consultant @Kuali

Role Description

You will be part of the integrated Kuali Customer Success team, working closely with other Implementation Consultants, Project Managers, Customer Success Engineers, Customer Success Managers, and Product colleagues, who are focused on helping customers get the most value from their investment in our software.

As a Senior Implementation Consultant, you will:

• Build strong relationships with customers to develop a deep understanding of the problems they’re trying to solve and how they define success.
• Assist customers with planning and implementation of Kuali solutions.
• Work as a functional lead throughout the entire implementation lifecycle, including planning, business process analysis and design, configuration, data conversions, integrations, training, go-live, and post-production support.
• Articulate Kuali software capabilities by maintaining an in-depth working knowledge of the software and how it can be configured and implemented to meet customer requirements.
• Demonstrate proficiency in system design and configuration, identification of business process modification, design document creation, data migration analysis, integration analysis, test script identification/execution, train-the-trainer and end-user training development and execution, and change management design and execution.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to customers.
• In certain cases, work as a project manager and develop work plans.
• Complete complex system-related analysis.
• Suggest approaches and solutions for solving problems that arise within the engagement.
• Ensure that the Kuali application is effectively utilized by exploring the customers' unique business and technical requirements and recommending the most appropriate solution(s).
• Train and participate in the professional development of Kuali staff in implementations, project management, and technical dimensions.
• Manage multiple projects of differing scale and duration.
• Share user feedback with the Product team to help guide product development.
• Play a supporting role with RFP and sales demos.
• Work with product and sales colleagues to define best practices for product usage, building a library of resources for future engagements.

Requirements

• Previous Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation experience with Kuali, Workday, Banner, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Oracle, etc.
• A minimum of five years of relevant experience in consulting, finance, and/or higher education.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• The ability to establish credibility with stakeholders at various levels based on expertise, maturity, and professionalism.
• A desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; highly invested in developing strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Experience in supporting multiple projects concurrently.
• Proactive and sensitive to customer needs.
• Strong communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Comfortable presenting information to various levels of stakeholders.
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to meet the needs of the team and customer.
