[Hiring] Senior Grants and Compliance Manager @Catholic Relief Services | CRS

Role Description

CRS is seeking candidates for a multi-country child development, care, and protection project. The overall objective of the project is to strengthen national systems that protect vulnerable children, support families, and improve early childhood development through locally led and sustainable approaches. The project will improve outcomes for vulnerable children by:

• Strengthening child protection systems
• Supporting families and caregivers
• Advancing integrated early childhood health and development
• Reducing reliance on residential care

The Sr Grants and Compliance Manager provides oversight of CRS grants and compliance systems across the global Child SAFE program, focusing on sub-award management under an FAA. The role is responsible for:

• Leading the implementation, standardization, and continuous strengthening of CRS policies, procedures, and operational frameworks
• Ensuring consistent and compliant application across participating country programs and partners
• Driving institutional learning, system improvement, and global harmonization of practices to support rapid, accountable emergency responses

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in grants management, compliance, or humanitarian operations
• Experience supporting global or multi-country programs
• Experience in complex emergency contexts

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in a relevant field (preferred)
• Experience effectively supervising and managing a team (preferred)
• Experience implementing or supporting humanitarian programming (preferred)
• Fluency in English required; Spanish or French preferred
• Must be willing and able to travel up to 20%
