Role Description

We are engaging Senior Field Service Technicians to contribute expertise on a customer’s technical project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

• Review and interpret complex electrical schematics, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams to assess equipment function and fault pathways.
• Diagnose faults and performance issues in industrial, HVAC, elevator, heavy equipment, marine, rail, utility, or telecom systems using technical documentation.
• Analyze PLC logic and industrial controls to identify root causes of operational issues and recommend evidence-based solutions.
• Document clear, detailed written reports of troubleshooting approaches, findings, and corrective actions for use in AI model training.
• Evaluate compliance with relevant US codes (NFPA 70/79, ASME A17.1, OSHA) and highlight code-specific requirements based on real project scenarios.
• Communicate technical concepts and diagnostic reasoning effectively in written and verbal form for diverse audiences.
• Provide expert commentary on practical maintenance, service, and repair strategies based on extensive field experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on troubleshooting experience in industrial, HVAC, elevator, hydraulic, heavy vehicle, marine, rail, utility, or telecom equipment.
• Advanced proficiency reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, hydraulic and pneumatic layouts.
• Deep familiarity with PLC programming, industrial controls, and fault-finding processes.
• Strong working knowledge of US safety and operational codes (NFPA 70/79, ASME A17.1, OSHA).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex diagnostics into clear documentation.
• Demonstrated capacity to analyze technical information and craft expert-level insights.
• Previous experience authoring technical service reports or instructions is a plus.

• This is a fully remote position, open to candidates based in 55 countries, including United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, India, France, Netherlands, Singapore.
