Role Description

The Senior EMR Analyst – CINCI Lab supports Electronic Medical Record (EMR) applications and technology critical to laboratory operations and patient care delivery. This role partners with clinical, laboratory, operational, and technical teams to develop, implement, maintain, and optimize software solutions that support efficient laboratory workflows and the accurate and timely delivery of patient care.

This senior-level position requires in-depth technical and functional knowledge developed through significant experience supporting complex EMR environments. The Senior EMR Analyst works with a high degree of independence, leads moderately complex projects and initiatives, troubleshoots and resolves complex system issues, and partners with end users and cross-functional teams to identify and implement effective solutions. The role may also provide guidance, training, and mentorship to other team members.

This position is essential to sustaining CINCI Lab operations, maintaining appropriate team capacity, and ensuring critical EMR and laboratory-related responsibilities are completed effectively and on time. Filling this role will help reduce resource constraints, support existing staff, and maintain progress on key operational and organizational priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of work experience in a related job discipline

• Set strategy and vision to support a user base through clinical system training and the creation and curation of expert education and training materials.
• Network with internal and external experts to identify best practices for clinical system use and training.
• Promote use of industry best practice tools for efficiency and innovative education and learning.
• Maintain currency in the field by participating in educational opportunities provided by vendor and other customer connections.
• Conduct and participate in instructional sessions.
• Use knowledge to improve skills and drive innovation.
• Prepare oral and written presentations.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of new and enhanced EMR requests.
• Develop and manage project plans and other project-related documentation for complex projects.
• Manage multiple moderate to complex projects independently.
• Determine the scope of complex projects and coordinate the appropriate resources needed.
• Independently prioritize assigned tasks and projects.
• Coordinate and facilitate communication between internal and external parties on assigned tasks and related issues.
• Independently work with cross-functional teams to ensure proper integration.
• Consult with and support the end user community to develop and validate requirements for system solutions.
• Work with 3rd-party developers to review potential software development solutions for integrated build issues.
• Develop collaborative professional relationships with customer group and key stakeholders.
• Ensure outstanding end-user support is provided, including ongoing monitoring of Service Level Agreements for incident management.
• Plan, execute, and support a user base through clinical system training and the creation and curation of expert education and training materials.
• Adhere to and promote continual adoption of change management policies and procedures.
• Model outstanding customer service behavior, including timely and effective follow-up with customers.

Benefits

• Expected Starting Pay Range: $91,520.00 - $116,688.00
• Starting pay is based on experience, skills, and equity; exceptions may apply for highly qualified candidates.
• Additional pay (e.g., shift, on-call, or weekend differentials) and benefits may apply.
• Annual pay may vary based on FTE status.
