Role Description

The Sr. Director of Security Operations is responsible for overseeing a worldwide security operations team that protects the critical data center infrastructure for a complex, multi-hundred-million-dollar client account. This senior leadership position also leads operational control of the Physical Security Operations Center (PSOC), integrating strategic threat response with operational security oversight. The role provides executive-level direction, aligns Securitas and client objectives, and drives program performance, service delivery, and global consistency across all regions. This role requires a forward-thinking professional with a strong command of security operations, a passion for operational excellence, and the ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do

• Lead regional directors and manage the full spectrum of global physical security operations.
• Ensure audit compliance, operational standardization, and quality control.
• Lead global threat and incident response initiatives.
• Develop preventative security strategies.
• Ensure effective PSOC operations.
• Deliver executive-level briefings.
• Nurture key client relationships.
• Collaborate across functions and time zones.
• Drive continuous improvement in security operations.
• Coordinate closely with the Program Management Office (PMO).
• Lead cross-functional teams and provide strategic insights to internal and client leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, security, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in physical security or account management.
• 3–5 years at the senior director level.
• Global operational experience required.
• Background in data centers, threat response, or PSOC leadership strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Strong leadership and crisis management capabilities.
• Process-driven mindset.

Requirements

• Travel approximately 30% of the time.
• Passion for travel and a valid passport are essential.
• Ability to work nights and weekends to support high priority events and off-hours incidents.
• Reliable means of communication.
• Reliable means of transportation (public or private) to get to/from work.
• Legal right to work in the country where the position is located.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English proficiently.
