[Hiring] Senior Director, Field Technology Office @Palo Alto Networks

Role Description

In this role, you will work side-by-side with Idira (CyberArk) customers, prospects, ecosystem partners, and market opinion leaders in the Identity Field Technology office, a team that is responsible for leading, in definition and practice, our global Technical Sales strategy and setting the direction of how sellers take Palo Alto Networks’ identity solutions and translate them to a winning technical GTM. The scope of this extends to every technology that Idira offers into the realms of holistic identity security with a special focus on securing modern environments and influencing customer executives to rethink common PAM/IAM/IGA constructs and to move toward platformization.

• Partner with domain consultants, sales teams, solutions, marketing, product management, channel partners, and regional sales leaders to construct compelling solution offerings.
• Spend the majority of your time in direct interactions with customer and prospect leaders to inspire confidence in PANW’s market leadership.
• Build strategies for accelerating technical pre-sales activity and set the technical presentation standards for customer-facing discussions.
• Act as a visionary and industry expert at the intersection of business and technology.
• Bring customer insights directly to product, solutions, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Dynamic presenter with a penchant for ‘talking at the right level’—empathetic with your audience.
• Based in or able to regularly travel to the US Central region.
• Combine strategy with execution, leading technical GTM by example.
• Well-rounded technologist with a passion for technology's positive impact.
• Deep experience in identity and access management, privileged access management, and machine identity security.
• Geo-savvy, creative, and comfortable engaging in beneficial activities for other teams.
• Inquisitive and committed to continuous learning.

Requirements

• Direct involvement with strategic customers and partners, building trusted relationships.
• Identify industry trends, functional requirements, and technical gaps.
• Drive repeatability by creating specific technical selling assets.
• Collaborate with business transformation and solution specialist go-to-market teams.
• Identify, recruit, and map potential ISV partners and marketplace providers.
• Enable the technical sales team on industry trends and solution offerings.
• Lead EBC technical and roadmap/vision discussions.
• Contribute to industry marketing activities such as webinars, conferences, blogs, etc.
