[Hiring] Senior Database Administrator @Lifepoint Health

Role Description

The Senior DBA provides Microsoft SQL expertise and strategic support across LifePoint and acquired entities. It combines technical leadership, operational support, risk management, and healthcare compliance responsibilities.

• Designs, optimizes, standardizes, and automates SQL systems while developing workflows and resolving level 3 incidents.
• Manages vendor relationships, procurement input, budgeting, forecasting, regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, and access to confidential information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant database management experience
• Experience working in a multi-facility healthcare company

Requirements

• Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and up – including failover and log shipping
• Always on availability groups
• Azure/Azure Arc
• PowerShell
• Some Postgres experience is a plus
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Perform other duties as assigned
