[Hiring] Senior Consultant @Sellers Dorsey

Role Description

Sellers Dorsey is seeking a Senior Consultant who will provide client consulting services including providing objective advice, expertise and specialized skills in the area of Medicaid financing and healthcare policy. As the Senior Consultant, you will manage a portfolio that involves financial and policy initiatives connected to supplemental payment and consulting projects contained within the Northeast region. You will provide project management services to client teams and are responsible for direct service delivery and client satisfaction for large, complex, multi-year initiatives. You will also support the Associate Director(s) and Director, and guide Consultant(s) through the project phases and client engagements. Your team management responsibilities will include setting goals, timelines, and guiding the discussion on strategies related to projects and problem solving with project leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ combined years in a policy management role and/or in consulting, healthcare industry required; advanced degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Public Health, Health Administration, business, economics or MBA preferred.
• 7-10 years of progressively responsible work experience is required, preferably in health or human services policy research, consulting and/or in a healthcare service delivery environment, or 5+ years of post-graduate, progressively responsible work experience in consulting or operational experience in health care and/or health policy research/analysis.
• Experience with Medicaid preferred. Relevant experience in the federal, state or private healthcare industry sector strongly desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint required.

• Previous project/task management experience strongly desired; attention to detail, a must.
• Experience delivering services on several projects simultaneously.
• Time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required; experience in quantitative program evaluation is highly desirable.

Benefits

• The anticipated salary range for candidates is $80,000/year in our lowest geographic market range to up to $110,000/year in our highest geographic market range.
• The successful candidate will also be eligible to participate in our annual Corporate Incentive Plan (CIP) that can range to up to 7% of annual salary.
