[Hiring] Junior Consultant @Cherokee Federal

Role Description

The Consultant supports Federal clients by collecting and analyzing information, documenting requirements and processes, building work products, and coordinating the details that turn a consulting approach into usable results. Consultants are hired for their analytical foundation, judgment, work ethic, learning agility, and team orientation, not for permanent attachment to one tool or contract. Assignment-specific duties may include:

• Business analysis
• Data analysis
• Process documentation
• Acquisition research
• Dashboard development
• Stakeholder support
• Training support
• Quality checks
• Project coordination

Qualifications

• Typically 2–5 years of experience in consulting, analysis, project delivery, Federal support, operations, data, acquisition, process improvement, or a related field.
• Strong analytical thinking, written communication, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Working proficiency with standard productivity, collaboration, analysis, and presentation tools.
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients in a quality-controlled, deadline-driven environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

• Ability to structure ambiguous information, identify gaps, and produce accurate work against deadlines.

Starting Salary Range for Junior Consultant: $80,000 – $110,000
