Role Description

The Search Consultant contributes to the team’s goals by providing services such as:

• Conducting analysis and application of technology to reduce data volumes pre-review
• Contributing to development of workflow and SOP strategy and documentation
• Conducting search consultation services with high accuracy and timeliness
• Developing mastery of dtSearch syntax and relevant review platform features/functionality
• Mentoring less experienced team members
• Performing other tasks as needed
• Developing expertise in all standard search consultation services and QC protocols
• Creating client-facing analyses, reports, and other deliverables
• Developing holistic understanding of client contexts, needs, and motivations
• Contributing to service management activities aimed at increasing knowledge, efficiency, and effectiveness of the Search team, such as:
  • Process and tool innovation
  • Service standardization and best practices definition
  • Creation of service documentation and formal training
• Being the internal point of contact for project management teams
• Proactively addressing questions from project management teams or clients in a timely manner
• Proactively collaborating with project management teams regarding client communications, consultation, and escalations

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in ediscovery
• Fluency in dtSearch syntax required
• Experience with Relativity required
• Ability to read and generate regular expressions required
• Strong exposure to ITES and a fast-paced work environment
• Keen attention to detail & strong client service ethic
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently or as part of a team
• Bachelor’s degree at minimum or a post graduate degree. A degree in linguistics, mathematics, computer science, or similar field of study or additional equivalent years of experience in eDiscovery is preferred
• Comfortable with a remote working environment with space available for office infrastructure and private workspace
