Role Description

This is a remote independent contractor opportunity working closely with our US-based team. Candidates should have strong English communication skills and availability for scheduled collaboration during US Central or Eastern Time hours.

Rankings.io is looking for a versatile, fast-moving RevOps Specialist to serve as an additional HubSpot resource for our Revenue Operations team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, picks up new requests quickly, and can turn around high-quality work on tight timelines.

Reporting to the VP of RevOps, you'll take on project-based HubSpot work, from building workflows to managing fields and handling data.

Responsibilities

• Workflow Building: Design, build, test, and maintain HubSpot workflows that automate sales and marketing processes, including lead routing, task creation, notifications, and lifecycle stage updates.
• Field & Property Management: Create, update, and organize properties and fields in HubSpot. Keep field structures consistent and aligned with reporting needs.
• Data Handling: Import, clean, update, and validate records. Support bulk updates and data fixes as projects require.
• Project-Based HubSpot Support: Take on scoped projects from intake through delivery, such as pipeline changes, automation updates, and system cleanup.
• Quick-Turn Requests: Handle ad hoc HubSpot requests from RevOps leadership with fast, accurate turnaround.
• Documentation: Document workflows, field definitions, and changes so the system stays understandable and easy to maintain.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to understand requirements and translate them into working HubSpot solutions.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a RevOps, marketing operations, or CRM administration role
• Strong hands-on HubSpot experience, especially building and troubleshooting workflows
• Solid understanding of HubSpot properties, objects, associations, and data structure
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and handling data imports and cleanup
• Flexible and adaptable, able to shift between projects and priorities quickly
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• HubSpot certifications are a plus
• Experience in the legal or professional services industry is a plus

Requirements

• Contractors accessing Rankings.io systems and client data are required, under the terms of the Contractor Services Agreement, to maintain endpoint security software (Huntress) for the duration of the engagement.
• This does not grant Rankings.io remote access to, or control over, contractor devices.

Compensation & Work Environment

• Monthly retainer of $3,000 – $4,500 USD, invoiced by the contractor.

Engagement Type

This opportunity is structured as an independent contractor engagement. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations in their country of residence. Nothing in this posting should be interpreted as creating an employment relationship. The selected candidate will provide services to Rankings.io as an independent contractor pursuant to a written contractor agreement. Contractors must reside in an eligible country. We are unable to engage contractors located in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Belarus, or the Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, or Zaporizhzhia regions.
