[Hiring] Research Coverage Analyst @Providence

Role Description

The Research Coverage Analyst will support the clinical research programs across the Providence Health System by developing a Medicare Coverage Analysis for all clinical trial protocols that include billable services. This position reports to the Coverage Analysis Manager and includes collaboration with several research entities within Providence.

• Complete a comprehensive Medicare Coverage Analysis in alignment with Medicare's Clinical Trial Policy, national medical guidelines, local practice guidelines, peer-reviewed publications, and local and national coverage determinations that encompass all billable services within the clinical trial protocol.
• Partner with CTMS, Budget, and Billing Adjudication teams to ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal policies.
• Uphold the standards of confidentiality, attendance, and punctuality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field or 4 years additional related experience.
• 2 years direct experience in Coverage Analysis development and interpretation of Medicare requirements for research.

Requirements

• 4 years experience in research, billing, or healthcare administration (preferred).
