Role Description
The Research Coordinator will oversee diverse clinical research projects in line with the goals of the Epilepsy Research Unit. The individual will be responsible for coordinating regulated clinical trials of cutting-edge therapies.
- Project scheduling, REB submissions and renewals, database management, data entry, patient visit scheduling, invoicing
- Lead multiple studies, including data collection and management, proposal development and submission, budget monitoring, journal article publication, systematic review screening and extraction, and supervision of medical students
Qualifications
- Degree in health-related field, master’s degree or equivalent work experience (Essential)
- GCP, ICH, Health Canada Division 5 certifications (Essential)
- Understanding of research design, guidelines and standards governing clinical research (Essential)
- Understanding of the Personal Health Information Protection Act (Essential)
- Excellent computer skills, including advanced knowledge of research related software (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, literature search engines, Reference Manager or equivalent) (Essential)
- Knowledge and practice of statistical software, including SPSS and REDCap (Essential)
- Experience in report writing, publication and communication briefs (Essential)
- Outstanding organizational, accountability and time management skills (Essential)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and think critically (Essential)
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment (Essential)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Essential)
- Excellent inter-personnel skills (Essential)
- Experience in regulated treatment trials (Preferred)
- Bilingualism (English/French) (Preferred)

- Eligible to work in Canada
