[Hiring] Relocation Specialist @Segues

Role Description

As a Relocation Specialist, you will work primarily with fellow relocation specialists to provide hands-on support with various stages of our clients' relocation or decluttering journey including but not limited to:

• Packing
• Organizing
• Downsizing
• Setting up their new home

This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys meaningful work, problem-solving, and bringing calm to what can be a stressful time for our clients. This position requires travel within the state of Wisconsin and occasionally northern Illinois. Employees are offered mileage reimbursement and travel compensation.

• Provide professional packing and unpacking services with care and attention to detail.
• Assist clients with sorting, organizing, and making decisions about household belongings.
• Support clients in the downsizing process, including donation and disposal coordination.
• Help plan and set up the new home, ensuring comfort, safety, and familiar surroundings.
• Handle client belongings respectfully and with discretion at all times.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and their families.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment during moves.
• Collaborate with team members to execute smooth and efficient move days.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor—especially with older adults.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry boxes and furniture (typically up to 25lbs).
• Ability and comfort to walk up and down stairs.
• Ability to work while standing up to 8 hours.
• Ability to reach, grab, fold, bend, squat as role requires.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, hands-on environments.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Exceptional attendance and reliability.
• Experience in caregiving, professional organizing, moving services, or working with seniors is a plus.

Schedule & Hours

• Flexible hours; most work is during weekdays, with occasional weekends as needed.
