Role Description

At Lime Rainbow, we do things differently. We’re growing a truly person-centred Behaviour Support practice that believes in people over paperwork and outcomes over quotas. We’re looking to grow our team of Registered Behaviour Support Practitioners who are ready to bring their skills, creativity, and compassion to a space that celebrates individuality, collaboration, and real change, not just ticking compliance boxes.

We’re seeking Registered Behaviour Support Practitioners based in Adelaide or elsewhere in South Australia, with a particular interest in supporting children and families in Early Childhood. This role involves regular travel to regional and remote communities to provide face-to-face support to participants and their families.

• Travel in pairs with a Therapy Assistant (TA) for a collaborative approach to service delivery.
• Open to contractor or full-time capacity, depending on experience and preferences.
• Experience in Early Childhood or a degree in Early Childhood Education is highly regarded but not mandatory.
• Work alongside a transdisciplinary team of Behaviour Support Practitioners, Therapy Assistants, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Pathologists.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
• Must be based in South Australia and willing to undertake frequent travel to regional and remote communities.
• Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support, trauma-informed practice, and relevant restrictive practice legislation.
• Experience working in Early Childhood or an Early Childhood degree is highly regarded but not essential.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Commitment to person-centred, neuro-affirming, and evidence-informed practice.
• Proactive approach to participating in supervision, ongoing team training, and professional development.
• Collaborative, kind, adaptable, and flexible mindset.

Requirements

• Develop and implement high-quality Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
• Provide practical training, coaching, and guidance to support teams, families, and carers.
• Collaborate with Therapy Assistants and other allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, person-centred support.
• Undertake regular travel across regional and remote South Australia to deliver face-to-face support.
• Participate in regular supervision, team training, case discussions, and collaborative planning.
• Contribute ideas and expertise to shaping how Behaviour Support should feel: practical, positive, and participant-first.
• Support participants and families to build skills, independence, and meaningful long-term outcomes.
