[Hiring] Regional Director, University Relations @Juno

Role Description

We're seeking up to fourteen Regional Directors, each owning one territory. Your job is to:

• Ensure the administrators are aware of Juno.
• Build trust so that their students are also made aware of Juno through various means.
• Thoroughly evaluate Juno to understand our operations and outcomes.

What you'll do:

• Own a territory: Manage every financial aid office and relationship within it. Build the plan, set the calendar, manage your budget, and deliver results.
• Build Relationships: Add value through financial education and better loan products. Gain understanding and buy-in from the financial aid community.
• Live in your associations: Engage in membership, exhibiting, sessions, listservs, and volunteer roles.
• Get on campus: Attend conferences and conduct visits.
• Deliver webinars: Conduct institutional sessions using the standard deck.
• Keep your CRM true: Maintain accurate records of contacts, last touch, and next steps on every active account.
• Feed intel back: Provide insights on competitors, campus changes, and student inquiries.
• Support our members: Ensure timely answers and support during peak borrowing seasons.
• Use AI as a multiplier: Leverage AI for research, drafts, and follow-ups.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in financial aid administration, student lending sales, higher education partnerships, or a closely related role.
• Strong relationships within the financial aid/higher education sector.

Requirements

• Ability to prioritize and focus time and energy effectively.
• Consultative patience for building trust over time.
• Presentation skills for both aid administrators and students.
• Writing skills for RFI and RFP responses.
• Regulatory literacy to answer compliance questions accurately.
• Self-management across multiple institutions with no daily supervision.
• Curiosity about student lending and financial products.
• Comfort with seasonality and planning for peak periods.
• Ability to live in your territory with an estimated 30% travel.
