Role Description

We're looking for a highly trusted, detail-obsessed professional to build and run a controlled archive and knowledge-review system for our organization. You'll decide what information gets preserved, how it's tracked, and what's ready to enter our governed knowledge environment — using approved AI tools to move faster, but never skipping your own judgment call.

This is a low-hours, fractional engagement (up to 8 hours/week) structured as an 8-week pilot — a great fit for an experienced records or compliance professional looking for flexible contract work.

What You'll Own

• Receive, preserve, and track custody of authorized records and source files
• Review incoming material for sensitivity, ownership, and admission eligibility
• Use AI tools to speed up inventory and classification — then personally verify every material decision
• Flag missing, corrupted, or high-risk material immediately
• Deliver a short weekly report on work completed, backlog, and risks

Qualifications

• Background in records management, information governance, compliance, audit, or legal ops
• Rock-solid discretion with highly confidential information
• Comfortable using AI tools — with the judgment to catch when they're wrong
• Clear written communicator who escalates uncertainty instead of guessing

Bonus Points

• Experience standing up a new archive or governance function from scratch
• Familiarity with legal hold, privacy, or cybersecurity practices
• Experience designing human review controls around AI-assisted work
