Role Description
This role supports the purchasing and procurement of goods through efficient processing of purchase orders and other related activity.
- Purchasing management
- Create, process & track purchase orders to ensure accurate and on-time delivery of goods
- Ad hoc purchasing duties as directed
- Post order management including order confirmations & discrepancies
- Assist in managing the shared Purchasing Email Inbox
- Inventory planning & management
- Monitor inventory levels & collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand
- Optimise inventory levels to avoid overstocking and reduce stockouts
- Coordinate internal transfers between locations
- Communicate to the internal stakeholders on overstocked products
- Ensure product data stays accurate & up-to-date
- Data Analysis
- Analyse inventory & purchasing data to identify trends and optimise processes
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
Qualifications
- With at least 3 years of experience in the same role
- Attention to detail & efficiency processing orders
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Strong product & system knowledge
- High level excel skills & computer literacy
- Problem solving capability
