[Hiring] Principal Consultant, Future of Work @ADP

Role Description

As a Principal Consultant, Future of Work on TheEdge team, you will use your experience to educate and consult with clients, sales teams, internal and external partners to show them the cutting 'edge" of innovation and its impact. This specialized team is the result of an incredible people incubation project combining high tech, presentation skills, and the most amped up creative minds to serve the clients and partners of ADP.

• Consult with field sales on sales strategy.
• Support sales teams in assigned geographic area of responsibility to meet their assigned product sales quotas.
• Contribute to sales education and training efforts relative to Future of Work Trends and product alignment.
• Travel to different geographic areas to participate in joint prospect meetings as the ADP thought leader liaison.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales Leadership, Training, Operations, and other stakeholders to develop field-ready messaging and tools.
• Create and deploy industry knowledge within their geographic area of responsibility.
• Develop an understanding of market intelligence, including competitor activity, customer feedback, field insights, and win/loss themes.
• Contribute to a highly collaborative, high-performing team environment focused on continuous improvement.
• Drive involvement of ecosystem partners in sales process with sales leadership through periodic reviews with focus on activity standards and referral activity, partner updates and campaigns.
• Share progress updates, observations, and recommendations with Sr. Sales Leadership and key stakeholders.
• Up to 30% travel required, including overnights.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in HR related fields, Human Capital Management technology, HR Analytics, HR consulting, sales enablement, or related fields.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, practical messaging.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong collaborative relationships.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Candidate may be based anywhere in the U.S.

Requirements

• A college degree is welcomed but not required; what matters most is having the skills and experience to do the job well.
• Experience in HR, HCM, or adjacent technology environments.
• Experience supporting go-to-market, sales enablement, consulting, or strategic communication work.
• Ability to connect market trends and innovation themes to client and business value.
• Confidence facilitating presentations, discussions, and learning sessions with a range of audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute ideas, adapt quickly, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
