[Hiring] PDM Analyst II @Henry Schein

Role Description

This position is responsible for item creation and maintenance for specified divisions/areas across the United States. This role requires close collaboration with Marketing teams, Purchasing teams, as well as the Suppliers to leverage the information and knowledge to ensure all appropriate regulatory matters and other requirements are met during the item setup and maintenance process. This position also requires the pricing management of Tier II and III Suppliers as assigned by the PDM Supervisor. Responsibilities include:

• Analyzing supplier pricing to ensure system cost integrity.
• Updating item cost and sell price.
• Reviewing pricing reports and resolving invoice discrepancies.
• Monitoring key metrics and supplier pricing performance.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a high volume, fast-paced, and detailed environment.
• Excellent verbal and communication abilities with strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• AS400/JDE experience preferred.

Requirements

• Manage price changes and related analytics for an assigned list of suppliers.
• Perform price change analysis and communicate variance and financial impact to Marketing and Purchasing teams.
• Improve pricing accuracy and analyze supplier performance through additional data analytics.
• Communicate effectively with the buying team to ensure pricing requirements are met.
• Timely and accurate entry of all price changes.
• Initiate negotiations with suppliers for price increase extensions.
• Management of all invoice discrepancies pertaining to cost.
• Timely resolution of daily invoicing discrepancies.
• Update Purchase Orders requests and determine if new costs should be used.
• Responsible for setting up new items for designated divisions/areas.
• Maintain existing items and address changes upon requests.
• Resolve item discrepancies by working with Distribution teams.
• Assist in managing department mailboxes and related inquiries.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
