[Hiring] Outside Folder @GNAP LLC

Role Description

The Outside Folder is a piecework position performed at the employees’ home. It is the process of folding and gluing abrasive materials to customer specifications.

• Ability to read the manufacturing order for the requested products.
• Ensure the order is returned before or on the deadline and the paperwork is completed correctly.
• Square Pads: no glue should be visible on the pad itself or coming out on the sides. Make sure you are using the right amount and proper spacing of the glue.
• Cross Pads: If material is noticeably different shades DO NOT fold together; ensure it is a cross not a T-shaped. Use tool provided.
• Overlap: If material is noticeably different shades DO NOT fold together; ensure punch holes are not still attached in the middle.
• There should not be any trimming needed. If folding, and trimming is needed please stop and measure cut pieces (order form) and if not cut properly continue to fold but do not trim (separate pieces that need to be trimmed).
• Required to contact the appropriate personnel at Precision if questions or concerns arise about an order.
• Make sure that no trash, lint, etc. gets into the boxes.
• Required to properly document time worked.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a ruler.
• Detail oriented and ability to perform intricate work with hands.
• Organization and Self-Disciplined for timely production of orders.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer order specs and policies, safety rules.
• Basic math skills and basic ruler measurements knowledge.
• The physical demands here require the ability to lift 10 – 25 lbs worth of abrasives materials.
• Dexterous use of hands, frequent forward reaching.
• The ability to correctly wear the personal protective equipment required when needed.
