Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Oracle EPM FreeForm Support Consultant with strong hands-on experience in:

• BSO and ASO cubes
• Advanced Groovy and MDX scripting
• Calculation management
• Performance optimization
• Integrations and production support

The consultant will be responsible for:

• Resolving complex production issues
• Supporting business users
• Performing RCA
• Managing deployments and migrations
• Developing enhancements across Oracle EPM FreeForm environments

Qualifications

• 8+ Years of experience
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to independently handle complex production issues
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a production-support environment
• Strong understanding of incident, problem and change management processes
• Ability to analyze performance issues and recommend sustainable solutions

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EPM FreeForm / Essbase BSO cubes
• Advanced Groovy scripting – mandatory
• Strong experience with Business Rules and Calculation Manager
• Development and implementation of Runtime Prompts (RTPs)
• Experience in BSO calculation performance tuning and optimization
• Hands-on experience with Data Maps and Smart Push
• Strong knowledge of EPM Automate and REST APIs
• Troubleshooting complex calculation failures, data issues and business-rule errors
• Experience with BSO cube design, calculations and data management
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EPM FreeForm / Essbase ASO cubes
• Advanced MDX development – mandatory
• Experience developing and troubleshooting ASO custom formulas
• Strong understanding of ASO cube design, optimization and aggregation strategies
• Experience with ASO performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Experience with data synchronization between BSO and ASO cubes
• Ability to analyze and optimize ASO queries and reporting performance
• Provide L2/L3 production support for Oracle EPM FreeForm applications
• Resolve P1–P4 incidents within defined SLAs
• Troubleshoot complex application, calculation, data and performance issues
• Perform detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective actions
• Support production deployments, migrations and release activities
• Perform monthly Oracle EPM patch validation and post-patch testing
• Provide user support and resolve functional/technical issues
• Develop and implement enhancements and change requests
• Monitor and improve cube, calculation and application performance
• Support data integrations and data synchronization activities
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, business and client teams to resolve critical issues
• Maintain technical documentation, support procedures and knowledge repositories
• Conduct knowledge transfer to support teams and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Oracle EPM Cloud / Planning / FreeForm production environments
• Experience with EPM Automate, REST APIs and automation
• Experience with Oracle EPM upgrades, patches and migrations
• Experience working in enterprise production-support environments
• Oracle EPM / Essbase certification is a plus

Requirements

• Candidates must have strong hands-on production experience with both BSO and ASO, including advanced Groovy and MDX
• Profiles with only functional EPM experience or limited production support exposure should not be considered
