Role Description
Paladin Sports Outreach is looking for kingdom minded individuals who have a heart for Jesus and want to share the gospel through sports programming. Being an area director for Paladin you would plant new programming in the region you live in to serve families with sports and the gospel.
- Focus on areas in the Minneapolis Metro area including Northeast, Southeast and Southwest regions.
- Offer multi sport, multi level programs for 3-18 year olds.
- Create and foster an environment to share the Christian faith and build up character in every individual served.
- Launch a sports ministry from the ground up as a self-motivated starter.
- Commit to the growth of the programs in the designated area and region.
- Responsible for all day-to-day aspects to ensure success with operational support from the Central team.
- Execute on the mission and vision of Paladin Sports Outreach.
Qualifications
- Experience serving and/or leading a ministry.
- Credentials related to your sport including preferred collegiate level experience as an athlete.
- Coaching experience at youth, club, high school, or collegiate level is a plus.
- Certifications displaying continued education in your sport or sports in general.
Requirements
- Must adhere to the vision of and mission of Paladin Sports Outreach.
- Must demonstrate a high level of detail-orientation.
- Must display organization and communicative skills.
- Must have the ability to work well under pressure in game situations.
- Must be able to display a loving, caring and supportive attitude, while at the same time showing a level of discipline that training athletes need.
- Must possess a strong ability to manage one’s own time and prioritize tasks when given clearly defined goals and objectives.
- Must have the ability to demonstrate uncompromised judgment and discretion with regard to interpersonal relationships.
- Must have a strong sense of self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
