Role Description
As a Medical Live Scriber, you will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency of clinical teams by accurately documenting patient encounters in real-time. You will work alongside healthcare professionals to ensure that all medical records reflect the exact details of patient visits, enabling improved communication and quality of care.
- Scribe real-time documentation during patient visits, capturing all relevant clinical information including patient history, examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Ensure accurate and legible transcription of verbal communications from healthcare providers and patients.
- Utilize EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems to input data efficiently and comply with healthcare documentation standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines while handling patient information.
- Collaborate with medical staff to clarify information and ensure completeness in documentation.
- Stay updated on clinical terminology and procedures to enhance the quality of scribing.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in medical scribing or healthcare preferred.
- Previous experience as a medical scribe or in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong typing skills with high accuracy, excellent listening skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with EHR systems and medical software is a plus.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
