Role Description

Mandarin Language Interpreter role in a voice processing job where candidates will be receiving medical profiled emergency calls, which needs to be live interpreted.

• Render correct concepts and meanings between foreign language (Mandarin) and English.
• Uphold correct rules for grammar and syntax in both languages.
• Provide strict renditions of messages, including every detail of the conversation.
• Employ good customer service and communication skills.
• Maintain clear enunciation, pronunciation, and a pleasant professional voice.
• Follow instructions for clients and manage the flow of the call.
• Avoid taking over the call and interaction with the limited English speaker without the client's permission.
• Remain calm during calls, especially in emergency situations.
• Be punctual and available during scheduled work hours.
• Ensure access to the internet for work-related electronic communication.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Comfortable with Rotational Shifts (Including nights).

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Fluency in English and Foreign language Mandarin (HSK4/Native speakers with an OCI card).
• Advanced skills in cultural dynamics of foreign language (Mandarin).
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills.
• Ability to concentrate and remain neutral and objective.
• Ability to explain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication.

Requirements

• Working days: 5 days (2 rotational week off).
• Job Type: Full-time (Work From Home).
• Salary up to: 11 LPA.
